Job summary

The CYP-PT Recruit to Train Trainee post is a Band 6 fixed-term opportunity within the Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. It forms part of NHSE funded CYP training programmes conducted in partnership with Anna Freud/UCL.

The role involves postgraduate training at UCL while delivering clinical interventions to children, young people and families. Based in Hertfordshire MHST, successful candidates will travel to Anna Freud in Central London for teaching during the training

Qualifications

• Postgraduate diploma level capacity.
• 2+ years experience in a children/young people mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Undertake training to deliver evidence-based interventions for children, young people and families.
• Manage a supervised training caseload, assess referrals and deliver and evaluate interventions.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and collect outcome data.
• Travel may be required to university teaching, service bases and community settings.
