Job summary

Leaders in Care is partnering with a clinician-led community healthcare provider to recruit a CYP Occupational Therapist for neurodevelopmental assessments in children and young people. This hybrid role in Birmingham offers a salary range of £45,000–£50,000 per annum and is available on a full-time or part-time basis.

You will conduct specialist functional and sensory assessments within autism and ADHD pathways, gather information from families, schools and records, and contribute to MDT

Qualifications

• Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong post-qualification experience within paediatrics, CAMHS or neurodevelopmental services.
• Experience completing functional and/or sensory assessments with children and young people.
• Confidence working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Complete specialist functional and sensory assessments as part of autism and ADHD pathways.
• Gather relevant information from children, families, education settings and clinical records.
• Bring an Occupational Therapy perspective to MDT discussions and diagnostic decision-making.
• Produce clear clinical reports and practical, neurodiversity-affirming recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with other clinicians across the wider neurodevelopmental pathway.
