Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Nurse Consultant in the CYP High Intensity Pathway. This Band 8b role is a permanent, full-time post (37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9-5) based at Kingsley Green, Radlett with a salary of £68,852–£79,638 per annum, inclusive of 5% HCAS.

The post holder will provide strategic nursing input, lead on CYPMH inpatient and community service development, and influence across organisational boundaries to deliver improved

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Learning Disability Nurse with extensive post-registration experience.
• A leadership qualification or equivalent experience.
• Nursing professional registration.
• Higher Degree in a Nursing Qualification, preferably to Doctorate level.
• Advanced clinical practice skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the operation and development of the CYPMH PICU Advisory service, working with the Patient Flow Hub and clinical lead.
• Gatekeeping referrals across East of England and support for referral pathways.
• Develop and implement the new PICU-LSU model in EoE to reduce escalation and strengthen care.
• Provide expert clinical knowledge, consultation, training and support for CYPMHS High Intensity provision and stakeholders.
