The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking the first postholder in a newly created Nurse Consultant role for the CYP High-Intensity Pathway, based across the East of England Provider Collaborative. You will lead the CYPMH PICU Advisory service and gatekeep referrals within the Patient Flow Team.

This senior role requires extensive post-registration mental health learning disability nursing experience and a leadership qualification or equivalent, with involvement in developing new PICU-LSU models

Qualifikationen

• Registered mental health learning disability nurse with current nursing registration.
• Management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Leadership qualification or equivalent experience.
• Extensive post-registration experience and evidence of service development.

Aufgaben

• Lead operation and development of the CYPMH PICU Advisory service with the Patient Flow Hub and clinical lead.
• Act as a senior member of the Patient Flow Team, gatekeeping referrals across the East of England.
• Provide senior strategic nursing input to the collaborative and management team, working with external agencies.
• Support development, implementation and monitoring of CYPMHS High Intensity provision and nurse-led initiatives.
• Offer consultation, training and support to clinicians on complex presentations, mainly in GAU Tier 4 settings.
• Join national workstreams on CYPMHS PICU services and contribute to PICU development and governance.
