Job summary

The CYPMH Crisis & Intensive Support team in Lichfield is recruiting a Community Mental Health Practitioner to work 37.5 hours per week, with daytime shifts including weekends and bank holidays. You will assess CYP in mental health crisis and provide intensive support to deliver safe, effective care as part of the CYP wellbeing and recovery action plan.

• Experience in CAMHS or crisis services encouraged.
• Experience with MDT working.
• Strong assessment and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs and deliver safe, effective interventions for CYP and families to avoid hospital admission.
• Co-ordinate care of the CYP on caseload.
• Work as part of the MDT and with wider services to meet needs.
• Offer advice, support and supervision to other healthcare professionals.
