Job summary
Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner for the CYP CAMHS Crisis service. You will provide specialist assessment, develop care plans, and support rapid home-based intervention for children and young people in crisis.
Join a multidisciplinary team, work across a 24-hour rota, and help keep young people safely at home while avoiding admission whenever possible. Relevant nursing or allied health registration is required, with experience in youth mental
Qualifications
- Registered mental health Nurse or Allied Health Professional on NMC/HCPC register.
- Post-registration training at diploma/degree level.
- Experience with children and young people with mental health needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist assessment and care planning with service users and carers.
- Contribute to home treatment through nursing care in the community.
- Support staying at home when safe, avoiding hospital admission where possible.
- Contribute to clinical service development within 0-25 Emotional Health and Wellbeing.
- Triage referrals and coordinate responses with the team.
