Job summary

Manpower is recruiting a Cylinder Driver (Class 2 ADR) for a Preston-based role. You will perform multi-drop gas cylinder deliveries with an emphasis on safety, customer service, and professionalism to meet client standards.

The position offers 42.5 hours per week at £17.13 per hour, with overtime pay at £25.70 and paid weekends. A daily start around 7am–5pm is typical, with some Saturdays during busy periods and robust training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card.
• ADR licence in Class 2 for packages.
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.

Competitive Pay: Earn £17.13 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £25.70 Weekends paid at £25.70 Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

Flexible Shifts: Monday to Friday with some Saturdays in busy times. The hours of work will be around the hours of 7am - 5pm. Some overtime is required.

Requirements:

Details:

• New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant licences will be considered
• The role is due to start immediately and is an ongoing position.
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
