Job summary

Manpower Preston, Lancashire is seeking a Class 2 ADR driver to join a busy distribution team. The role offers £17.13 per hour with guaranteed 42.5 hours per week and overtime rates. Shifts are typically Mon-Fri with some Saturdays, and start around 7am.

You will handle multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders, manual handling, and ensure safety and compliance with client standards. ADR Class 2, Cat C, Digi, DCPC, and tachograph knowledge are required; insurance restrictions apply and a clean

Qualifications

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card.
• ADR licence in class 2 in packages.
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.

Competitive Pay: Earn £17.13 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £25.70 Weekends paid at £25.70 Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

Yearly Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses twice a year

Flexible Shifts: Monday to Friday with some Saturdays in busy times. The hours of work will be around the hours of 7am - 5pm. Some overtime is required.

Details

• New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant licences will be considered
• The role is due to start immediately and will run until the end of May 2027 when it will be reviewed
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
