Job summary

Manpower UK Ltd in Preston is seeking a delivery driver to perform multi‑drop deliveries of gas cylinders, ensuring safe, professional operations for clients. A valid Cat C license, Digi card and DCPC are required, with DBS checks conducted for successful candidates.

The role is Monday to Friday with some Saturdays, typically 7am–5pm, and includes overtime. Generous holiday entitlement and access to training via MyPath are offered.

Salary and Hours:

Competitive Pay: Earn £17.13 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week. Overtime rates of £25.70. Weekends paid at £25.70. Rates are PAYE. 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

Yearly Bonuses:

Performance-based bonuses twice a year.

Flexible Shifts:

Monday to Friday with some Saturdays in busy times. The hours of work will be around 7am - 5pm. Some overtime is required.

Details:

New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant licences will be considered. The role is due to start immediately and will run until the end of May 2027 when it will be reviewed. For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
