Job description

Cyclotron Technician

Supporting the continued expansion of this advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing business, we are now seeking to appoint a Cyclotron Technician.

With multiple sites across the UK, this specific facility has experienced an exceptional period of growth and positive transformation. As part of this, they are expanding the engineering team to support the increasing demands from production and the wider facility.

In this position, you will need to be versatile. You will work on advanced pharmaceutical equipment and also take responsibility for manufacturing, laboratory, and facility maintenance. Working alongside a team of three on a small manufacturing site, you should be comfortable with mechanical and electrical systems and capable of handling both challenging and routine tasks.

The role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. An on-call rota (including nights) is being developed, so flexibility is essential.

Given the site location and the flexibility required, living within one hour of the site and having access to your own transportation is necessary.

Experience required:

  • Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment, with responsibility for various engineering duties
  • Proficiency with electrical and mechanical systems
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
  • Experience with pneumatic systems is advantageous
  • Previous experience with a Cyclotron is a bonus
