Job description

Are you looking for a varied role in Pharmaceutical Production? Do you have a degree in a Scientific Discipline and some relevant working experience?

A manufacturer of specialist radiopharmaceuticals is currently seeking a Production Operator to join the team at their site near Sutton. The role will involve the synthesis, dispensing and distribution of radiopharmaceutical products. This is an ideal opportunity if you are a graduate (MSc/BSc, or equivalent) of a relevant scientific discipline.

Role Overview
  • Permanent, Full Time.
  • Due to the short shelf life of the products being manufactured you will be required to work unsociable shift patterns including nights and weekends (12-hour shifts).
  • Synthesis of radiopharmaceutical products (cyclotron operation).
  • Dispensing of radiopharmaceutical products into vials.
  • Involvement in the packaging and shipment of products to patients.
Requirements
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts including days/nights/weekends (predominantly 12-hour night shifts).
  • Prior experience working a similar shift rotation including nights is highly beneficial.
