Job summary

Leisure Lakes Bikes is looking for a proactive, technically skilled workshop technician in Ulverston. The role involves bicycle servicing, e-bike diagnostics, and delivering high-quality workmanship with attention to detail.

You will manage bookings and customer records using our workshop software, work as part of a busy team, and be flexible across six days per week with weekend hours. A strong Cytech background is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Cytech Level 2 or 3 certification is ideal.
• Strong technical and mechanical knowledge in bicycle maintenance and servicing.
• Experience with e-bike diagnostics in a busy workshop.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service a range of bicycles, including e-bikes.
• Use workshop systems to manage bookings and customer records.
• Work efficiently, solve problems, and manage workload independently.

We are seeking a proactive, hard-working, and computer-literate individual with a passion for cycling to join our workshop team.

Candidates should have strong technical and mechanical knowledge, with experience in bicycle maintenance, servicing, and e‑bike diagnostics within a busy workshop environment.

The ideal candidate will be conscientious, dedicated, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship with excellent attention to detail. You must be capable of problem-solving, managing your workload effectively, and working independently when required.

General IT competency is essential, as you will be required to use our workshop management systems to manage bookings, customer records, and workshop schedules.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Cytech Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Experience with e‑bike diagnostics and servicing
• Previous experience working within a professional bicycle workshop environment

While these qualifications and experiences are desirable, they are not essential for the right candidate.

Working Hours

Our Ulverston store operates Six days per week (Closed Sundays) with trading hours typically ranging from 9:30am to 5:30pm. Successful candidates must be flexible and available to work across these operating hours, including weekends and peak trading periods.
