Job summary

Leisure Lakes Bikes in Ulverston is seeking a proactive workshop technician with a passion for cycling to join our workshop team. Candidates should have strong technical and mechanical knowledge, with experience in bicycle maintenance, servicing, and e-bike diagnostics within a busy workshop.

The ideal candidate will be conscientious, dedicated, and capable of problem-solving, able to work independently, and proficient with our workshop management systems to handle bookings and customer records.

Qualifications

• Cytech Level 2 or 3 qualification required.
• Experience with e-bike diagnostics and servicing.
• Experience in professional bicycle workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service bicycles, including e-bikes, in a busy workshop.
• Use workshop management systems to manage bookings and records.
• Work six days per week with weekend coverage and flexible hours.

Salary Range: £30.800 + Performance bonus / £32.000 + Performance Bonus

Salary Range: £31,500-£33,500 Salary DOE

We are seeking a proactive, hard-working, and computer-literate individual with a passion for cycling to join our workshop team.

Candidates should have strong technical and mechanical knowledge, with experience in bicycle maintenance, servicing, and e-bike diagnostics within a busy workshop environment.

The ideal candidate will be conscientious, dedicated, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship with excellent attention to detail. You must be capable of problem-solving, managing your workload effectively, and working independently when required.

General IT competency is essential, as you will be required to use our workshop management systems to manage bookings, customer records, and workshop schedules.

Skills/Experience Required

• Cytech Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Experience with e-bike diagnostics and servicing
• Previous experience working within a professional bicycle workshop environment

While these qualifications and experiences are desirable, they are not essential for the right candidate.

Working Hours

Our Ulverston store operates Six days per week (Closed Sundays) with trading hours typically ranging from 9:30am to 5:30pm. Successful candidates must be flexible and available to work across these operating hours, including weekends and peak trading periods.
