HIRING FOR WORKSHOP MECHANIC
Are you looking for a role that’s hands-on, fulfilling, and within an exciting environment? Look no further. MB Cyclery, one of the UK’s leading independent bike shops, has a rare vacancy for a workshop mechanic!
How are your mechanical skills? Do you love working on your bike yourself and know your way around servicing, building, and general repairs? We’d like to hear from experienced mechanics, whether this is your prior profession or not.
The successful candidate will work on a wide range of bikes, including road, electric, town, and MTB. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing bicycle issues, recommending and selling parts and accessories, and maintaining accurate records of repairs and transactions. MB is known for custom builds, so every day offers different challenges with all types of servicing at a professional level. Excellent communication skills, an approachable manner, and good telephone manners are essential. You will also keep the workshop organized and ensure the availability of tools and parts. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to work alongside World Cup DH racing athletes.
MB was established in 2017 and has grown rapidly. As an independent shop, you'll work closely with the team and owners who share a passion for bikes, riding, and racing.
We are looking for someone who shares this passion, is meticulous, and strives for excellence. The position is full-time, offering a competitive salary and perks, working 5 days a week including Saturdays (with a day off during the week). To apply, please email your CV and cover letter to admin@mbcyclery.co.uk. We look forward to hearing from you!
