Job summary

A global payment technology leader is seeking a Cybersecurity professional to conduct threat analysis and enhance security in cloud environments. This hybrid role requires strong software development skills and experience with cloud security services. Candidates should possess 8+ years in Cybersecurity and relevant certifications. Qualifications

Job description

With the Security Team, you will:

1. Conduct threat and risk analysis and participate in the development of mitigation strategies.
2. Assist in developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and best practices.
3. Enhance the security posture of the entity hosted in public cloud or on-premises environments.
4. Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to audiences ranging from business leaders to engineers.
5. Collaborate with IT and other business units to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of technology and operations.
6. Develop infrastructure and platforms to automate vulnerability management and security reporting.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

1. Strong software development background (Python, Java).
2. Agile / Scrum experience.
3. Strong understanding of network, application, and system security.
4. Experience with cloud security services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
5. Experience with deploying secure infrastructure into cloud environments.
6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 8 or more years of work experience in Cybersecurity.
2. AWS Security Specialty certification.
3. Technical experience with programming, technology infrastructure, and security.
4. Experience in deploying resources using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
5. Experience in securing Kubernetes services.
6. Extensive knowledge of OWASP Web Top 10 and CWE Top 25.
7. Strong written and oral communication skills to document reports on assessments and communicate potential weaknesses and risks to diverse audiences.
