Job summary

Siemens Smart Infrastructure - Electrification & Automation is seeking a Cybersecurity Professional for a hybrid role based in Hebburn or Manchester. You will support cybersecurity assurance across information security, projects and supplier engagements.

Reporting to the Cybersecurity Assurance Manager, you will coordinate risk assessments, provide guidance to asset owners and project teams, and help drive ISO 27001 governance and secure-by-design practices. This role offers learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in cybersecurity or related technical discipline.
• Professional cybersecurity experience.
• Understanding of information-security management.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication.
• Curious, proactive and motivated to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity assurance activities across information security, business assets, projects and operational environments.
• Coordinate and support assurance processes, including risk assessments, evidence gathering, action tracking and reviews.
• Provide guidance to asset owners, project teams and stakeholders on cybersecurity requirements and best practices.
• Support information security governance, ISO 27001 maturity initiatives, control reviews and assurance reporting.
• Provide cybersecurity input throughout the project lifecycle, including tender activities and secure-by-design practices.
• Conduct and coordinate assessments of suppliers, contractors and third-party service providers, tracking remediation actions.
• Collaborate with Procurement, IT, Engineering, Project Management and Operations to manage cybersecurity risks.
• Support development of cybersecurity capability through knowledge sharing, training and guidance materials.
