Job Description

Exciting Opportunity - Cyber Underwriter

Join a Market-Leading (Re)Insurer - Corporate Cyber Team

Salary circa - £92,000 plus package

City of London

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a cyber insurance professional or a cyber security consultant seeking a fresh challenge. This is your chance to join a market-leading (re)insurer within their dynamic Corporate Cyber team.

You will be working with large, complex corporate cyber risks across global territories, with approximately 50% of the portfolio focused on US-based risks and further you will be focused on UK retail risks. These are underwritten on a direct and facultative basis, with the team taking the lead position as the primary insurer on half of the risks reviewed.

Typically, the average premium written is around $150 million. This position would suit a cyber insurance professional currently operating in the mid-market space who is ready to step up and take on more complex, international risks. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress within the cyber insurance landscape, with the chance to travel and develop further in the field of corporate cyber risk.
