Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a Cyber Technical Service Manager to lead technical service delivery for a portfolio of enterprise clients. You will collaborate with Security Operations, Engineering and Product teams to deliver MDR services, improve security strategies and drive cyber resilience.

You'll act as the primary technical contact, run technical reviews and QBRs, translate incidents into business-focused guidance, and identify opportunities to strengthen customer maturity

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security service delivery for enterprise clients.
• Strong knowledge of MDR, SIEM, SOAR and incident response.
• Experience managing enterprise customer relationships.
• Familiarity with SOC processes and cyber security operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Understanding of ITIL and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for a portfolio of cyber security customers.
• Lead technical service reviews, QBRs and roadmap sessions.
• Provide technical guidance across MDR and MIS offerings.
• Translate security incidents into business-focused recommendations.
• Collaborate with SOC to improve detection, response and service performance.

As a Cyber Technical Service Manager, you'll act as the technical lead for a portfolio of clients, working closely with Security Operations, Engineering, and Product teams to deliver Managed Detection & Response (MDR) services, enhance customer security strategies, and drive continual improvements to cyber resilience.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary technical contact for a portfolio of cyber security customers
• Lead technical service reviews, quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and roadmap sessions
• Provide technical guidance across Managed Detection & Response (MDR) and Managed Infrastructure Services (MIS)
• Translate security incidents, alerts and trends into clear business-focused recommendations
• Work alongside SOC teams to improve detection quality, incident response and service performance
• Support customers through cyber security incidents and major service escalationsIdentify opportunities to improve customer security maturity and cyber resilience
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to enhance services and automation
• Produce technical reports, dashboards and service performance insights
• Support service renewals and identify opportunities for additional cyber security solutions

Skills/Must Have:

• Experience within Cyber Security, Technical Service Delivery, SOC or Managed Security Services
• Strong understanding of MDR, SIEM, SOAR and Incident Response
• Experience managing enterprise customer relationships
• Knowledge of Security Operations Centre (SOC) processes and cyber security operations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Understanding of ITIL and SLAs

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike or Google SecOps
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST or CIS Controls
• Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce or similar ITSM platforms
• Power BI or reporting and analytics experience
