Job summary

CoreTech Security is seeking experienced software engineers with active Developed Vetting clearance to deliver end-to-end products across embedded and mobile platforms. The role focuses on C/C++ development, designing complex solutions, and leading small teams through full project lifecycles.

You will work hands-on in day-to-day delivery, build prototypes, and help raise coding standards via static analysis, reviews, and automated tests while aligning with client requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

• Active Developed Vetting security clearance
• Experienced software engineers with end-to-end product delivery across platforms
• Strong experience in C and C++ development across embedded and mobile platforms
• Experience designing and implementing complex solutions leveraging platform capabilities
• Comfort with platform APIs, development environments, and native debugging on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android
• Experience leading small or midsize teams through full project lifecycle
• Commitment to code quality through static analysis, code review, automated testing, and CI
• Ability to lead technical projects

Responsibilities

• Design new clean-slate products with autonomy over architecture
• Add new capabilities to or replace core components of existing products
• Build quick prototypes to test feasibility and iterate
• Hands-on work in day-to-day delivery with colleagues
• Mentor junior colleagues and promote idiomatic code and engineering rigour
• Drive engineering processes to balance quality and delivery timescales for clients
