Making a Difference
You’ll contribute to the future of aviation by supporting operational excellence. The Cyber Security Technician responds to security threats, manages security incidents, operates security tools, and collaborates with SOC providers. The role involves troubleshooting cybersecurity issues, understanding adversaries’ tactics, and supporting information system security.
This role offers hybrid working, with travel to the nearest GKN Aerospace site and biannual global travel.
How You'll Contribute
What You'll Bring
Essential:
Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years in high availability infrastructure roles in a global manufacturing setting.
Experience in security, performance, and reliability.
Understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security management tools.
Knowledge of system architectures and vulnerability assessment.
Desirable:
Knowledge of aerospace regulations, export controls.
Stakeholder engagement skills.
Certifications: ITIL, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Data Protection, CCNA, Security+, CEH, CISSP.
