Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Cyber Security principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with EDR and NDR security tooling, such as CrowdStrike.
  • Familiarity with public cloud services like AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support, resolving escalated issues to ensure systems availability.
  • Support the timely delivery of IT Provision and Change Management.
  • Practice Continuous Improvement methodology to drive enhancements.

Cybersecurity is crucial because it protects individuals and organizations from the risks and consequences of cyberattacks, which can range from financial loss and reputational damage to identity theft and even physical harm. What you’ll be doing

• Provide technical support, resolving escalated technical support issues across the lines of business to ensure systems availability to the customer.
• Support the timely delivery of IT Provision ,Incident handling, Service Requests and Change Management by the team to the published SLAs and KPIs
• Provide technical support in the delivery of the services offered by the team and input to service productivity to achieve targets.
• Provide Line Manager early sight visibility of issues and concerns that could impact the Systems Engineering objectives, and effectively manage escalations.
• Support the Operational elements on transformational opportunities to help meet Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure and Technology objectives and influence the business to adopt recommendations.
• Practice CI methodology as a standard operating tool used by the team on a daily basis to identify areas of waste and drive improvements.
• To provide analytical and innovative input to projects/operational issues as well as support negotiations.

The skills you'll need

• Very good understanding of Cyber Security Principles
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) security tooling (CrowdStrike)
• Network Detection and Response (NDR) security tooling
• Understanding the Mitre Attack framework
• Good understanding of networks and protocols
• Windows server knowledge
• Linux server knowledge including containers
• Public Cloud (AWS, Azure and GCP) understanding
• Track record of Project delivery end to end
• Ability to produce technical documentation
• Happy to work occasionally Out of hours
• Will need to provide callout cover 24x7x365
• You identify opportunities to use collaborative approaches and continuous improvement. You contribute to projects as a subject matter expert or content owner.
• Stakeholder Management: Able to collaborate and work effectively across complex and matrix relationships, negotiating where needed to help support agreement.
• Sound knowledge of Incident and change management processes and system
