Cyber Security Specialist Project Manager (2 Year Fixed Term Contract)
Permanent Salary: Between £75,000 - £85,000
Location: UK Wide
Working Arrangement: Mainly remote – Occasional trips to Gloucester or London

Synopsis

I’m working exclusively with a utilities business seeking a Cyber Security Specialist Project Manager.
This role requires eligibility for SC clearance, necessitating at least 5 years of work in the UK, and does not offer sponsorship. Cyber Security project management experience is mandatory.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with GRC teams, in highly regulated and federated environments, and owning projects with good project discipline.

This role reports to the Business Information Security Officer and collaborates with GRC teams, customers, and corporate areas.

Your new role will involve

1. Project managing multiple workstreams including GRC, IAM/PAM, technical controls assurance, security operations, training and awareness, critical asset discovery, incident response, disaster recovery, and more.
2. Managing cyber project processes.
3. Supporting security teams in articulating security awareness initiatives to the wider business.
4. Implementing reporting and KPI measurement.
5. Managing technical controls implementation.
6. Identifying and expanding ISO27001 scope areas.
7. Enhancing organizational resilience.
8. Streamlining processes and increasing project discipline.
9. Communicating cyber topics across the organization.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven understanding of cyber and information security projects across various security workstreams.
• Excellent communication and engagement skills, including risk articulation and stakeholder management.
• A highly process-oriented and business solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience in highly regulated, large, complex organizations is mandatory.
• Experience in cyber project delivery.
