Base pay range

Cyber Security PM

Initial 6-month contract

£553/day inside IR35

Remote based

At Lorien, we’re excited to be partnering with our retail banking financial services client to recruit an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to join them during a large cyber transformation programme with a 3-year programme of work.

Responsibilities include:

• Representing the needs of internal business customers, stakeholders, and senior managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Applying project management skills, including planning, risk, issue, budget, and resource management, with a focus on delivery.
• Leading and coordinating diverse teams across multiple sites and engaging with external service providers.
• Managing key resources and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Demonstrating and encouraging flexibility to achieve project goals on time and within budget.
• Taking accountability and making critical decisions in complex situations.
• Liaising with IT suppliers on deliverables and problem resolution.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in delivering Cyber and/or network transformation projects.
• Experience with Microsoft security tools.
• Good understanding of the financial sector, with the ability to communicate technology challenges in business terms and deliver business value.
• Experience in complex project delivery with business and technology changes involving external providers.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership, influencing, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience managing financial budgets for complex projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience creating Management Information material.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver against project plans, understanding critical paths and RAIDs.
