Job summary

Vodafone is seeking a Cyber Security Product Owner in Newbury to lead the development of in-house tools that strengthen security posture and respond to incidents. You will manage a team in a start‑up like environment, collaborating with internal and external cyber teams to deliver secure capabilities.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience developing software tools.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Excellent analytical ability to inform data driven decisions on service improvement and risk reduction.
• Active engagement with broad range of stakeholders up to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Vodafone’s Cyber strategy with the Prevent Domain Leadership.
• Collaborate with the SBD team for network security and hardening.
• Partner with Cyber Dev Sec Ops to model secure software engineering practices.
• Serve as cyber network hardening expert and advise on remediation approaches.
• Identify opportunities for technical innovation proactively.
• Act as ambassador for Cyber Security and standardise best practices across teams.
