Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a Cyber Security Operations Analyst in Glasgow with hybrid working. You will monitor security events, analyse data, and respond to incidents while improving processes and documentation. Collaborate with a global team to support BAU activities.

The role requires strong technical cybersecurity background, analytical and documentation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cyber security operations and frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, ITIL).
• Solid knowledge of network security, IDS/IPS and SIEM tools.
• Experience with firewalls, SIEM, DLP and endpoint protection.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to document complex processes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational processes to identify inefficiencies, duplication and risk.
• Design and document SOPs.
• Develop high-quality operational documentation.
• Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools.
• Investigate and triage security events by severity and impact.
