Job summary

Searchability NS&D in London seeks an experienced Cyber Security Manager to lead client engagements, assess security postures and deliver transformation programmes.

This role requires Defence/Government sector experience, strong knowledge of security frameworks, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Hybrid work with 2-3 days onsite in London; active SC or DV clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong background in cyber or information security.
• Experience in Defence, Government or National Security environments.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, CIS or CAF.
• Experience in security architecture, cyber risk, vulnerability management, incident response, security monitoring or threat intelligence.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication.
• Understanding of network security, encryption, authentication and access controls.
• Experience with threat and risk modelling.

Responsibilities

• Leading client engagements and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Delivering cyber security assessments, architecture reviews and risk analysis.
• Running workshops and presenting complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advising on security architectures, controls and technologies.
• Developing cyber security strategies and implementation roadmaps.
• Supporting incident response and business continuity planning.
• Applying frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, CIS and CAF.
• Providing specialist advice across complex Defence and Government environments.

• Up to £95,000 Depending on Experience

The Cyber Security Manager Role

As a Cyber Security Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them understand cyber risk, improve their security posture and deliver secure technology transformation.
