Job summary

Ceres Power is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Lead to own and drive a risk-based security programme across the organisation. This hands-on role combines technical delivery with governance, incident response and supplier risk management to protect people, systems and data.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of information security best practices and certifications (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials).
• Hands-on delivery of security controls across cloud services (Office 365, Azure, AWS).
• Experience with security tooling (MDM, EMS, Intune, AirWatch) and SOC operations.
• Auditing, risk assessment and governance knowledge; 3rd line operational experience.
• Exposure to penetration testing and vulnerability scanning; networking security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead a structured, risk-based cyber security programme with governance and KPIs.
• Own security controls, policies and compliance across the business.
• Coordinate vulnerability management, pen tests and incident response activities.
• Collaborate with procurement, legal and IT to secure third-party suppliers and licensing partners.
• Act as primary technical contact for SOC engagements and security incident coordination.
