Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd is seeking a Cyber Security & Infrastructure Engineer in Newcastle to join a hands-on IT team. The role covers cyber security, infrastructure, cloud, threat detection and incident response across on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will monitor alerts, manage incidents, perform vulnerability management and support IAM, SIEM and secure Microsoft 365/Azure services in a hybrid infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Commercial experience in cyber/infrastructure security roles.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Intune.
• Experience with Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Understanding of IAM, encryption and TLS.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and web security principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents and lead response.
• Conduct forensic investigations and contribute to threat intel.
• Develop security monitoring, detection rules and use cases.
• Carry out vulnerability scanning and patch remediation.
• Contribute to penetration testing and app security testing.
• Secure and maintain Azure cloud environments.
• Implement IAM solutions and manage access controls.
• Support security across Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Intune.
• Ensure alignment with security standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with third-party suppliers to improve security standards.
• Participate in IT on-call rota and incident leadership.
