Job summary

Bonhill Partners is seeking a senior cybersecurity engineer in London to lead data and cloud security initiatives in a large-scale enterprise. You will drive security design reviews, governance, and risk-based recommendations across cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with DLP, encryption, key management, and modern cloud security controls, with mentorship responsibilities and stakeholder management across technology and business units.

Requirements

• Strong experience in cybersecurity engineering within complex, large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proven hands-on expertise across Data Security and Cloud Security, including hybrid, multi-cloud and on-premises environments.
• Experience with DLP, data classification, encryption, tokenisation, key management, CSPM and DSPM.
• Strong experience implementing, upgrading and supporting enterprise security tools and platforms.
• Experience conducting security architecture and design reviews, providing risk-based and secure-by-design recommendations.
• Strong understanding of security controls, risk, governance and compliance frameworks.
• Experience working closely with cross-functional engineering, technology and business teams.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and modern cloud security principles.
• Experience developing and maintaining security standards, procedures and technical documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance technical, business, risk and regulatory priorities.
• Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring and knowledge sharing within engineering teams.
