Job summary

DGH Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the Real Estate sector to appoint a Cyber Security Engineer in London on a 12 month fixed term contract.

You will work with the Cyber Security Manager and Senior Engineer to design, implement and maintain security across applications, data, infrastructure, networks and cloud platforms, including Microsoft 365. The role requires strong knowledge of security frameworks, ITIL processes and hands-on security tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience in an information/cyber security role.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft security technology solutions.
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, Cyber Essentials.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, change and problem management.
• Awareness of cyber security and information management principles.
• Experience with security assessments and penetration testing tools.
• Ability to maintain a productive, professional, and secure working environment.
• Understanding of data management principles.
• Understanding of IT network management principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the firm's security function.
• Support the security of applications, data, infrastructure, networks and cloud platforms.
• Embed security in the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration of hardware and software.
• Coordinate with technology teams to deliver annual penetration tests and security audits.
• Administer, monitor and oversee security operations across Microsoft 365 including Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Purview, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams.
• Identity and access systems and controls, vulnerability management, incident management and ticket handling, SIEM/SOAR investigation and response, advanced threat hunting.
• Manage the security incident procedure and escalate data breaches or cybersecurity incidents in line with processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Cyber Security Manager and Senior Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain the firm's security function.
• Support the security of the organisation’s applications, data, infrastructure, networks and cloud platforms.
• Work with IT and internal and external partners to embed security in the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration of hardware and software.
• Coordinate with technology teams to deliver annual penetration tests and security audits in line with business needs.
• Administer, monitor and oversee security operations across Microsoft 365, including Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Purview, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams.
• Identity and access systems and controls, Vulnerability management, Incident management and ticket handling, SIEM/SOAR investigation and response, Advanced threat hunting.
• Manage the security incident procedure, ensure incidents are accurately recorded, and elevate data breaches or cyber security incidents in line with agreed processes.

Required Skills:
