About the Role

The Global Information Security (GIS) team manages information and cyber security across Computershare globally, delivering technical security controls and monitoring services. The team supports business objectives while reducing overall security risks.

The Cyber Security Engineer will focus on implementing and maintaining on-premises and cloud security infrastructure, particularly integrating cloud and on-prem security systems. Responsibilities include technical security projects, cross-training, and upskilling in advanced technologies.

This role involves delivering technical security services for critical applications and infrastructure to ensure resilience against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure and policies.
• Develop security solutions and automate tasks to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Configure and tune SIEM event correlation rules and content.
• Implement web content protection rules.
• Collaborate with security monitoring teams to defend enterprise systems.
• Document procedures and protocols.
• Monitor industry sources for threats impacting Computershare.
• Build strong relationships with global infrastructure, application, and architecture teams.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have experience in security solutions deployment, preferably with an Azure Security Engineer Associate certification or similar. Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, security protocols, encryption, and troubleshooting skills are essential.
