Job summary

Squarcle is a growing strategy, operations and digital consultancy in the UK, seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to design, implement, and maintain strong security controls across client projects. You will work with solution architecture, software and data teams to embed security throughout the lifecycle of systems and services.

The role focuses on cloud and on‑prem security design, threat modelling, vulnerability management, and incident response within a fast‑paced consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security roles across enterprise or complex environments, including SOC delivery and/or SIEM operations.
• Strong understanding of network security, identity management, and endpoint protection.
• Proven experience with Azure Security tools and SIEM engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement security architectures for applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Conduct security design reviews and provide assurance across projects.
• Ensure compliance with UK GDPR and security standards.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams and stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and mentor team members.
