Job summary

Anson McCade Pty in London is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Consultant to join our Energy & Utilities practice. You will act as a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders, lead security assessments and develop strategies to reduce risk, delivering end-to-end engagements from advisory through to implementation.

The role requires 7–10+ years in cyber security, strong communication and stakeholder management, and experience with senior clients in regulated sectors.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in cyber security, consulting, advisory or programme delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience with senior clients and managing complex engagements.
• Solid understanding of cyber security frameworks, risk management and enterprise security.

Responsibilities

Senior Cyber Security Consultant – Energy & Utilities

Location: London (1 day a week)

Salary: Up to £105,000 + 12% bonus

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to join a world-leading professional services organisation within its growing Cyber Security practice, supporting major clients across the Energy & Utilities sector.

This is a client-facing role for an experienced cyber security professional who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on programme delivery, helping organisations strengthen their security posture, manage risk and navigate complex challenges.

The Role

• Act as a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders, building strong relationships and influencing key security decisions.
• Lead cyber security assessments, develop security strategies and support the implementation of solutions to reduce risk.
• Deliver end-to-end security engagements, from initial advisory through to programme implementation.
• Apply frameworks and standards including NIST, ISO 27001, CAF and NIS.
• Work across areas such as Enterprise Security, Cyber Strategy, Security Operations, IAM and Risk Management.

About You

• 7–10+ years’ experience in cyber security, consulting, advisory or programme delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience working with senior clients and managing complex engagements.
• A solid understanding of cyber security frameworks, risk management and enterprise security.
• Ideally, experience within the Energy, Utilities or wider regulated infrastructure sectors.
• A commercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to account growth.
