Job summary

Radius Consultancy is recruiting a Cyber Security Consultant for a client based in East London. The role focuses on strengthening the telehouse security posture with emphasis on security assurance, governance and incident response leadership.

The successful candidate will contribute to security monitoring, threat analysis, vulnerability management and major cyber incident support as needed.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in Cyber Security with relevant frameworks and regulations.
• Knowledge of EDR, SIEM, NDR, security architecture and IAM/PAM.
• Experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Security Assurance or GRC.
• Experience overseeing MSSP, SOC activities and third-party management.
• Certification: CISSP, CISM or CRISC.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen and maintain cyber security posture through security assurance, incident response coordination, vulnerability management and governance.
• Lead security assurance, governance and incident response activities.
• Support investigations, security monitoring, threat analysis and major cyber incident response when required.

Job description

Salary: £80,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience within recognised frameworks and regulations including ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST Cyber Security Framework, NIST 800-61, GDPR, NIS2, and Cyber Essentials
• Minimum five years experience in Cyber Security
• Knowledge of EDR, SIEM, NDR, applications, security architecture, IAM, PAM encryption technologies, network security, Zero Trust, secure interconnection patterns, and cyber security principles
• Experience within Security Operations, Incident Response, Security Assurance, or GRC functions
• Experience managing or overseeing MSSP, SOC activities, and third party management
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST Cyber Security Framework, Incident Response methodologies, Cyber Security Governance, GDPR, and regulatory compliance
• One or more certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
