Job summary

Flat Fee Recruiter is seeking an ICT Cyber Security Apprentice at Joint Headquarters, Sherwood Lodge, Nottingham. This full-time, 37-hour-per-week role runs for 24 months on a fixed-term contract, with a commitment to an apprenticeship course and agile, flexible working options.

Qualifications

GCSE Grade 4/C+ or equivalent in English and Maths.
Some experience with security related technologies, desktop and server operating systems.
Some experience of providing ICT support and interest in learning an ITSM framework such as ITIL.
Some experience of fault finding and resolution for a varied range of hardware and software.

Responsibilities

Experience first and second-line support as part of the ICT Security Team, ensuring high levels of service and support.
Participate in incident, service request, and knowledge management practices within ICT Security, using ITSM tools.
Escalate complex issues to ICT Security Manager and other lines of support while maintaining ownership and communication.
Maintain detailed documentation of ICT assets, incidents, changes, and known errors, following procedures.
Help ensure SLAs and KPIs are met and identify service improvement initiatives.
Triage, troubleshoot and resolve service requests and incidents; document and process changes.
