Job summary

Radius Limited, based next to our Radius Campus HQ in Crewe, is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to protect systems and data, lead threat detection and incident response, and drive security improvements across the business.

You will work with the wider Cyber Security team to maintain ISMS, uphold ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus requirements, and collaborate with IT operations and development teams to embed secure design and controls.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of cyber security and its practical application across technology environments.
• Good understanding of application security and secure development practices.
• Experience with Vulnerability Management, penetration testing and security assessments.
• Experience with EDR, NDR and SIEM technologies including monitoring, alert investigation and response.
• Understanding of cyber incident response, triage, investigation, containment and recovery.
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Work with IT Operations and wider business functions to implement and optimise security controls across platforms.
• Identify cyber security risks and recommend mitigations to reduce risk.
• Design, implement and evolve cloud-based infrastructure with security by design.
• Collaborate with software development teams to embed secure design in SDLC.
• Create and review cyber security policies, standards and procedures.
• Monitor security events, conduct threat detection and incident response to minimise impact.
• Lead vulnerability management activities and remediation tracking.
• Conduct threat intelligence research and recommend improvements.
• Engage with vendors and MSPs to support security operations and enhancements.
• Lead cyber security projects to improve capability, resilience and compliance.
