Salary: £36,408 (includes £2,658 non-concessionary payment)
Working Arrangements: Flexible working options available, including full-time, part-time, and compressed hours. Around 20% home working may be available depending on business needs.

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will work with a close-knit team to defend our organization against various cyber threats such as malware outbreaks, insider threats, DDoS attacks, and phishing. Your responsibilities include detecting, responding to, and mitigating risks, analyzing alerts, logs, network traffic, and endpoint data using tools like Splunk, developing detection content, and leveraging threat intelligence. You will also have opportunities to support digital forensics and respond to security incidents, gaining valuable experience in operational cybersecurity.
You should have a passion for IT and cybersecurity, experience with scripting, understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, and familiarity with Python. An interest in developing skills in AWS and Azure is also desirable. You must hold a cybersecurity certification or have equivalent educational background (e.g., CompTIA Security+), or have at least 6 months of experience in a cybersecurity role. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
We support your growth through formal training, on-the-job learning, and external certifications such as SANS and OFFSEC. You will be paired with a mentor and gain hands-on experience in threat detection, incident response, and operational security strategies. Opportunities for travel, conferences, and staying current with cybersecurity innovations are available but not mandatory.
Starting salary of £36,408 plus benefits including 25-30 days annual leave, public holidays, performance recognition, season ticket loan, pension scheme, cycle scheme, on-site facilities, and paid parental leave.
