Job summary

Teneo is seeking a Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance Associate to translate cybersecurity strategy into measurable outcomes within the Information Security and Risk team. You will enhance assurance, improve risk visibility and support priority security initiatives across our global business.

Join colleagues across Security, IT, Legal, Procurement and the wider business to keep controls audit-ready, drive remediation, and provide credible assurance to clients and auditors.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology risk, cybersecurity governance, compliance, audit support or related fields.
• Familiar with ISO 27001, SOC 2 or Cyber Essentials; NIST knowledge beneficial.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to collaborate across teams.
• Detail-oriented with a drive to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Support risk and controls assessments, including walkthroughs, evidence gathering and remediation tracking.
• Coordinate evidence for external audits and compliance assessments (ISO 27001, SOC 2, Cyber Essentials).
• Maintain control documentation and audit evidence for audit readiness.
• Track risk-treatment actions, owners and deadlines, escalate delivery concerns as needed.
• Create and maintain security policies, standards, procedures and control descriptions.
• Maintain security metrics, dashboards and action trackers across audit findings and risk.
• Assist with third-party risk assessments and client due diligence responses.
• Support cybersecurity roadmap delivery and governance activities.
