Job summary

Standard Bank Offshore is seeking a security-focused professional to support information security objectives and regulatory compliance across the Group. The role involves assisting in implementing controls, monitoring risk, and advising on security practices within a diverse portfolio.

You will work under senior professionals to embed security by design, manage operational security controls, and respond to alerts, contributing to the Group's overall resilience and data protection.

Qualifications

• First Degree or equivalent in IT, risk management or related field (advantageous).
• Experience in security operations or related IT roles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring security controls and risk management practices under senior guidance.
• Interpret and apply Information Security policies, standards and controls to protect assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate integration of security into client solutions and development lifecycles to reduce vulnerabilities.
