Job summary

Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a Cyber Technologist (Research) to conduct applied research, explore emerging technologies and develop proofs-of-concept that address government and national security needs. You will work within our Cyber & Intelligence team, collaborating with multidisciplinary groups and engaging with customers to deliver real operational impact.

Willingness to obtain UK security clearance is essential, and UK citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technical solutions or research in cyber, defence, intelligence, security or related domains.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences via reports, presentations and workshops.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct applied research to solve complex cyber and technology challenges.
• Design and deliver technical investigations, experiments and proofs of concept.
• Develop prototypes, demonstrations and innovative technical solutions.
• Produce clear technical reports and customer briefings.
• Provide specialist advice and support to customers, stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Contribute to innovation activities, business development opportunities and future capability growth.
