Job summary

HSBC UK is seeking a Testing Strategy & QA Governance Consultant (Cyber) in Sheffield on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on defining the Cyber Testing Strategy, QA governance, maturity framework, and remediation roadmaps, working with Cybersecurity teams and Control Owners.

The candidate will establish KPI/OKRs, craft audit-ready evidence, and drive adoption of automated testing across Cyber. The role requires proven QA leadership, experience in regulated environments, and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Proven experience defining and delivering departmental testing strategies and governance across multiple teams and regions.
• Experience aligning testing strategy with business goals; 6+ years of QA experience; 2+ years in QA leadership.
• Experience supporting QA/audit readiness in regulated environments with evidence and controls.

Responsibilities

• Define Testing Strategy and QA standards across Cyber, including frameworks, processes, methodologies and tooling.
• Lead Maturity Framework assessment and remediation planning; drive automated testing adoption.
• Provide support to Cyber QA Practice Lead and ensure vision is implemented across delivery teams.
• Establish KPIs/OKRs for Cyber QA Team; track delivery, quality, and efficiency.
• Develop audit-ready testing evidence standards and dashboards for adoption tracking.
• Deliver training for Testing Practice members and monitor tool adoption.
