Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is recruiting for an Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager (GRC) to lead the department's cyber risk governance, policy, and enterprise assurance. Based in York, you would report to the Head of Information Security and drive the GovAssure programme and SbD across all digital initiatives.

You will oversee central compliance with GovS 007, CAF, ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST, chair governance boards, manage budgets, and guide service owners through risk

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cyber risk management, security policy and enterprise assurance.
• Experience leading GRC teams and delivering security governance.

Responsibilities

• Drive the departmental cyber security governance strategy and GovS 007 alignment.
• Lead GovAssure programme and SbD across digital initiatives.
• Oversee cyber risk framework, risk registers, third-party and supply chain assurance.
• Line manage and mentor the GRC team and engage with senior leadership.
