Job summary

Redpalm Technology Services seeks a CE+ Lead Assessor to evaluate Cyber Essentials (Basic & Plus) submissions and guide customers on remediation and improvements. The role includes conducting vulnerability tests, maintaining assessor status, and contributing to automation within the Cyber Essentials team.

Responsibilities cover client sessions, detailed feedback, documentation, and escalation support, with a focus on security posture enhancements and ongoing CPD participation.

Qualifications

• Hold CSTM or another IASME List A qualification.
• Maintain CE and CE+ assessor status and CPD points.
• Proactively identify risks or improvements and create remediation plans.
• Excellent decision-making and team collaboration for security reviews.

Responsibilities

• Complete CE+ assessments, schedule interactive sessions, and sign off submissions.
• Provide feedback on changes required to assessment answers using the template.
• Conduct internal/external vulnerability scans and sample testing per CE+ specs.
• Maintain knowledge of IASME CE scheme and marking requirements.
• Develop Cyber Essentials automation and update department documents.
• Escalate as needed to other CE assessors with guidance.
• Assist VMaaS in remediation and lead customer meetings on vulnerabilities.
• Support service desk as a secondary 3rd line escalation point.
