Ruptura InfoSecurity is seeking a Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor to join our security consultancy team in a hybrid role near High Wycombe. You will lead Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments, guiding clients through IASME processes and validating controls.

Ideal candidates have IASME certification, strong client-facing skills and a practical, risk-based approach to security, with experience across Windows, cloud, networks and endpoint protection.

Qualifications

• IASME Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor certification is required.
• Experience delivering Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, endpoints and cloud technologies.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Experience working with clients in consultancy or security-focused roles.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, CIS Controls or NIST CSF is advantageous.
• Exposure to penetration testing and cross-training within a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments in line with IASME requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand environments, review evidence and guide through certification.
• Assess technical controls across endpoints, networks, cloud services and infrastructure.
• Identify security weaknesses, non-compliance and areas for improvement.
• Produce clear assessment reports and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage assessments through the assessment platform with proper documentation and evidence.
• Contribute to refining assessment methodologies, tooling and client experience.
• Collaborate with consultancy and penetration testing teams on security engagements.
