Job summary

Xpertise Recruitment has an exciting contract opportunity for a Cyber Delivery Assurance Lead (AI Security) in West London. The role focuses on embedding security across large-scale digital, cloud and AI-enabled delivery initiatives, delivering cyber assurance and guiding risk decisions throughout the lifecycle.

Cyber (AI) Delivery Assurance Lead (AI Security)

£750 - £850 per day (Inside IR35)
West London | 2 Days Per Week Onsite
Rolling Contract | Minimum 12 Months of Work Confirmed

We're seeking an experienced Cyber Delivery Assurance Lead to join a major enterprise transformation programme. This is a long-term contract opportunity focused on ensuring security is embedded across complex digital, cloud and AI-enabled delivery initiatives.

Working within a large-scale technology environment, you will provide cyber assurance, challenge risk decisions, influence senior stakeholders, and ensure security controls are effectively implemented throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering cyber security assurance within large, complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of security by design principles and embedding security controls throughout project and product lifecycles.
• Ability to conduct threat and risk assessments across a variety of technology stacks and recommend appropriate mitigating controls.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving security outcomes across technology, business and third-party teams.
• Strong knowledge of modern cyber security frameworks, standards and regulations including:
  • NIST
  • ISO 27001
  • GDPR
  • PCI DSS
  • NIS
  • NCSC Cyber Security Guidance
• Understanding of cloud, infrastructure, network and application security principles.
• Experience working within regulated environments with stringent security and compliance requirements.
• Ability to support active risk management and make pragmatic security decisions aligned to business objectives.

AI & Emerging Technology Experience

A key part of this role is supporting the secure adoption of AI technologies. Candidates should demonstrate experience or knowledge of:

• AI security governance and risk management.
• Generative AI, AI agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Risks including prompt injection, data leakage, excessive agency, insecure outputs and unauthorised access to sensitive information.
• AI Agent and Model Context Protocol (MCP) security, including identity management, delegated authority, permissions, trust boundaries and monitoring.

Desirable Qualifications

• CISSP
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
• SANS GIAC Certifications
• Relevant AI Security certifications
