A key member of a specialist financial lines unit for a massively progressive UK independent broking firm, this role will challenge and reward you in equal measure - a career opportunity for a cyber specialist, or someone seeking to move into that specialist role.
You’ll have a strong set of products and schemes, plus leading insurers queuing up to work with your team; your role will be twofold - advising your own client portfolio, whilst supporting colleagues from across the branch network on al things Cyber. The proposition is your to drive.
As Cyber Account Director, you’ll join a forward-thinking business that is dedicated to expanding its market share in the specialist financial lines area.
- Work closely with Account Executives and the senior teams around the branch network to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
- Use your expertise to train and up skill colleagues, advise clients and position the business as the choice for prospects.
- Provide specialist support and expertise on cyber insurance.
- Deliver financial lines expertise to enhance the firm's service offerings.
- Manage and develop your own client base.
- Apply your cyber expertise in a role where it will be respected and fully utilised internally by colleagues and externally by clients.
- Be seen as the expert you are.
- Own and manage your own clients and prospects, as well as contributing to the wider group.
- A grown up environment where you control your own diary – you’ll be attached to the Birmingham office and spend time there collaborating with colleagues, but there’s real flexibility allowing you to be where you need to be to get the job done.
- A base salary of between £55,000 - £75,000.
- Uncapped bonus, with an additional £15,000 - £20,000 very achievable in the first year, and more beyond.
- This team is approaches its fourth year and continues to grow – you can really contribute to something quite compelling.
To thrive as a Cyber Account Director, you will need:
- A proven track record in cyber insurance (and other financial lines if possible).
- Exceptional knowledge of cyber products, services and perils.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with a diverse range of clients and colleagues.
- A proactive approach, with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Comfortable with business travel - this role is attached to the firms Birmingham office but will require you to attend Manchester, Leeds, Bristol and London on occasions.
