Job summary

THG Ingenuity is offering a Level 4 CX Apprentice – A1 & Data Integration. You will work alongside our team to bridge back-end data with front-facing bot conversations and help design, test and improve chatbot journeys.

This 12-18 month apprenticeship is perfect for a recent college leaver. You’ll gain a fully funded qualification, with 20% of your time dedicated to off-the-job training, plus on-site lunches and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Interest in conversational AI, automation and cloud technology.
• Basic understanding of how data travels across the web (APIs, webhooks, JSON).
• Enjoys digging into numbers, dashboards or data to diagnose issues.
• Strong communication and willingness to learn and collaborate with the team.

Responsibilities

• Design, test and tweak chatbot journeys to provide quick answers without agents.
• Set up webhooks and APIs to pull live data into bot conversations.
• Review conversation logs and performance data to fix where the bot stalls.
• Help monitor the platform day-to-day to keep data connections healthy.
• Collaborate with data leads and customer teams to translate ideas into automation.

Job Title: CX Apprentice - A1 & Data Integration

Reports to: CX Solutions Director

Duration: 12-18 months, subject to learner progress + End Point Assessment

What You'll Be Doing

We're looking for an enthusiastic Level 4 Apprentice to join our team and help us build better, smarter chatbot experiences. You won't be expected to run the whole show on day one you’ll be working right alongside our team to help bridge the gap between our back-end data and the front-facing bots that talk to our customers.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Building Chatbot Flows: Help us design, test, and tweak chatbot journeys to make sure customers get their answers quickly without needing to talk to an agent.
• Plugging In Data: Learn how to set up webhooks and APIs that pull live data out of the cloud and drop it straight into our bot conversations.
• Tracking What Works: Look through conversation logs, drop-off rates, and performance data with the team to figure out where the bot is getting stuck and how we can fix it.
• Keeping Things Running: Help monitor the platform day-to-day to keep our flows working smoothly and our data connections healthy.
• Teamwork: Work with data leads and customer teams to turn ideas into simple, automated bot interactions.

What We're Looking For

• Problem-Solving Skills: You like digging into numbers, spreadsheets, or dashboards to figure out why something isn't working.
• Eagerness to Learn: You're a great communicator who isn't afraid to ask questions, pick up new skills, and get stuck into team projects.
