Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Bristol operates No.2 Cutter within a busy cutting team. The role supports the No.1 operator by feeding material and ensuring smooth run speeds with minimal waste, while maintaining acceptably high quality in the creasing process.

Working in a manufacturing environment, you will assist make readiness, monitor loads, and uphold health, safety and site procedures as described in established SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a plant operator in an industrial environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong commitment to quality and safety in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pallet of the next job is available for make ready and thereafter all loads available in time.
• Assists make ready on machine.
• Operate machine in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Maintain high quality of cartons produced in the cutting and creasing process.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time (Timesheets, Job Bags, Load Tickets, Maintenance Requests).
