Morrisons invites you to an Industrial Placement in procurement. You will join the team that buys raw materials for manufacturing sites, including meats and a range of fruit, vegetables, fish and flowers, gaining understanding of seasonal variations and planning to meet customers’ demands.

Job Overview and Opportunities

• On the Myton corporate placement , you will be working in a team that buys raw materials for our manufacturing sites which could include meats and all varieties of fruit, vegetables, fish and even flowers, this includes gaining an understanding of seasonal variations and working with the team to ensure we plan and buy to our customers demands
• During the placement you will also be working either directly with our supply chain partners or with our customers and gaining an understanding of the end to end buying process of sourcing, sales and planning, commercial finance and new product development, that aligns with our growth plans and that of our customers, by looking at market insights and proposing new business or reviewing current products to meet demands

• You need to be able to use and interpret data to help inform your decisions and understand financial information.
