Job Description:

Due to continued growth and success, my client is seeking a Cut and Crease 1st Minder to join their team. They are a leading company in packaging with multiple UK sites.

Work Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, including days and nights.

The Role:

• Operate and set die cutting presses within the department.
• Understand and interpret work instructions accurately.
• Share best practices and knowledge within the team.
• Optimize machine performance while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform first-off passes and quality checks throughout the run.
• Follow SOPs and quality policies.
• Carry out routine maintenance as per Asset Care Program.
• Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide cover during holidays, absences, and peak times.
• Manage transfer of work in and out of the department.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Assist in other areas as needed with appropriate training.

The Person:

• At least 3 years’ experience operating Bobst die cutting and creasing machines.
